Status Management is deactivated. Therefore the system cannot check if
preceding tasks are already blocked.
When you make a posting or start a program in update mode, predecessor
tasks are not checked and no new status information is saved in Status
Management for the consolidation groups and units involved.
Blocking/unblocking of tasks ist not possible when status management is
deactivated.
At least in production (live) systems, Status Management should always
be activated.

You can reactivate Status Management in the Implementation Guide (IMG)
in the step "Check Global System Settings". Alternatively, there is a
menu item in the data and consolidation monitors under "Environment".
