SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: FU - Utilities

  • Message number: 824

  • Message text: Error during table & update, entry &

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Entry &V2& could not be entered into table &V1&, neither could an entry
with the same key, which may already have been in the table, be updated.
The reason for this is not in the application; it is likely to be the
    result of a databse error.
If entry &V2& is missing from table &V1&, it causes certain FI
transactions to terminate with an error message.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Use transaction SE16 to check whether there is an entry present in
table &V1& for each of the transaction codes FB1D, FB1K and FB1S. If
even one of these codes does not have an entry, then you must rerun
XPRA (otherwise no action is necessary).
