Message text: Target input quantity does not exist; total of input quantities is used
The system calculates the percentages of the quantities of the input
materials and substances (input quantities) from the
<DS:DE.FRMLE_INP_TGT_QTY>target input quantity</>. If this does not
exist, the system uses the total of the input quantities entered as a
basis for calculation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
In the consistency check the system checks, for example, whether the
target input quantity is equal to the total of the input quantites. You
have to enter the target input quantity if you want to use this check
in the consistency check.

- Ensure that the target input quantities are set correctly and are not zero.
Review Master Data:
- Check the master data for the materials involved in the formula. Ensure that all relevant data is complete and accurate.
- Look for any discrepancies in the material master records that could affect the formula.
Update or Create Target Input Quantities:

- Ensure that the quantities are realistic and align with the production requirements.
Check for Versioning Issues:
- If there are multiple versions of the formula, ensure that the correct version is being used in the production order or planning process.
