  • What causes this issue?

    You have entered a derivation step that contains the field
    <DS:DE.FM_DERIVATION_INDEX>sequence number</> (NUMBER) as a source
    field. This means that you can enter several target objects for each
    source object in the rule entries. You either have to enter the field
    <DS>FM-CF: distribution percentage</> (PERCENTAGE) or the field
    <DS:DE.FM_LAST_TARGET>last target object</> (LAST_TARGET).

    System Response

    If you do not enter either of these target fields, the system derives
    the target object defined under sequence number 01 during closing
    operations.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want several target objects to be derived for each source object
    in closing operations, you have to enter the field PERCENTAGE for the
    budgeting operations and the field LAST_TARGET for the commitment
    carryforward.
