it to a development package that exists in the corresponding system. The
software component is automatically derived from the package. If the
assignment of software component has changed in the system, this needs
to be updated in the BRFplus application as well.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

A new version of the application with the changed software component
needs to be created. This can simply be achieved in the BRFplus
Workbench by saving and activating the application again.
To programmatically update the software component using BRFplus API, you
need to set the package again.
