Your system is in an archiving migration phase for object &V1&.

    System Response

As long as archiving migration is active, archiving cannot be carried
    out for archiving object &V1&.

    How to fix this error?

Ask your system administrator whether migration was possibly terminated
with an error. In a case such as this, you can force the migration to
end (from an archiving point of view) by using program RSARCHM0. Note
that only migration archiving is started up by this program. No further
actions are carried out for the migration.
If there is not a migration termination, then you must wait until the
end of migration before the next archiving.

The SAP error message F9810 indicates that archiving is not possible for a specific object because an archiving migration is currently active. This typically occurs when there is an ongoing process to migrate data from one archiving solution to another, or when the system is in a state that prevents archiving operations.

    Cause:

    1. Active Archiving Migration: The primary cause of this error is that the system is in the middle of an archiving migration process. This could be due to a scheduled migration job that has not yet completed.
    2. Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings that are preventing archiving operations while migration is active.
    3. Locks or Transactions: There could be locks on the data or transactions that are preventing the archiving process from proceeding.

    Solution:

    1. Check Migration Status: Verify if there is an active archiving migration process. You can do this by checking the relevant transaction codes (like SARA for archiving) or monitoring jobs in the background.
    2. Wait for Completion: If a migration job is running, you may need to wait for it to complete before attempting to archive again.
    3. Review Configuration: Check the configuration settings related to archiving and migration. Ensure that they are set up correctly and that there are no restrictions preventing archiving.
    4. Consult Logs: Look at the application logs or job logs to identify any specific issues or errors that may provide more context on why archiving is blocked.
    5. Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists and you cannot identify the cause, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance. They can provide more detailed insights based on your specific system configuration and logs.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: Familiarize yourself with relevant transaction codes such as SARA (Archive Administration) and SLG1 (Application Log) to monitor and manage archiving processes.
    • Documentation: Review SAP documentation related to archiving and data migration for best practices and troubleshooting steps.
    • System Performance: Ensure that your system is performing optimally, as performance issues can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior during archiving processes.
