  • What causes this issue?

    Update of NW Enterprise Search models is done by import of programs,
    containing the model meta data.
    The last step before writing the model data to database is a consistency
    check of the whole "new" software component (&V1&).
    This validation has failed and thus the software component cannot be
    updated automatically.

    System Response

    The software component &V1& cannot be updated.

    How to fix this error?

    Continue to use the current version of the software component.
    Create a support ticket (component BC-EIM-ESH) and add the text of the
    error message and phrase "program-based software component transport".
    SAP developers and support can make use of SAP FAQ note 1874091 to
    analyze import issues. Most of the import issues (note 1874091) only
    occur while SW Comp. development and are not expected to happen in
    customer systems.
