- No dynamic modification factors for &2 to &3 ?The SAP error message EPRO429 "No dynamic modification factors for &2 to &3" typically occurs in the context of the SAP Production Planning (PP) or SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) modules. This error indicates that the system is unable to find dynamic modification factors for the specified range of values (represented by &2 to &3) in the planning process.
Cause:
- Missing Configuration: The dynamic modification factors may not be configured in the system for the specified range. This can happen if the necessary settings in the planning parameters or master data are incomplete or incorrect.
- Data Inconsistency: There may be inconsistencies in the master data or planning data that prevent the system from retrieving the required factors.
- Incorrect Planning Version: The planning version being used may not have the necessary dynamic modification factors defined.
- Versioning Issues: If the system is using different versions of planning data, the required factors may not be available in the current version.
Solution:
- Check Configuration: Verify the configuration settings for dynamic modification factors in the relevant planning area. Ensure that the factors are defined for the required range of values.
- Review Master Data: Check the master data (e.g., material master, routing, etc.) to ensure that all necessary information is correctly maintained and that there are no missing entries.
- Update Planning Version: If you are using a specific planning version, ensure that it includes the necessary dynamic modification factors. You may need to create or update the version to include these factors.
