This typically occurs in the context of utilities management within SAP, particularly in modules related to billing and meter reading.
Cause:
No Actual Reading Available: The most common cause is that the system did not receive an actual meter reading for the specified period. This could be due to various reasons, such as:

Data Entry Errors: Errors in data entry or processing can also lead to the system defaulting to estimated readings.
Solution:
Check Meter Reading Entries: Verify if actual meter readings were recorded for the specified period. If not, ensure that the readings are entered correctly into the system.
Review Meter Accessibility: If the meter was not accessible, consider scheduling a new reading or using alternative methods to obtain the actual reading.
Adjust Configuration Settings: If the estimation process is not desired, review the configuration settings in the SAP system related to meter reading and estimation. This may involve consulting with a system administrator or SAP consultant.
Manual Adjustment: If an actual reading is obtained after the fact, you may need to manually adjust the records to replace the estimated reading with the actual one.
