Message class: EL - IS-U meter reading data processing
Message number: 125
Message text: Dev. &1 reg. &2 is not allocated to an installat. on &3. No rate determ.
The device is not allocated to an installation. Rate determination, and
therefore determination of the allocated validations is not possible.
In this case, you have to check *-entries in table TE219 or TE121.
However, the only checks that can be considered are those, which are
not based on periodic consumption, e.g. tolerance limit checks, since
this does not exist for a device without an installation allocation.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

EL125
- Dev. &1 reg. &2 is not allocated to an installat. on &3. No rate determ. ?The SAP error message EL125 indicates that a specific development (Dev.) and registration (reg.) number is not allocated to an installation on a specified date, which results in the system being unable to determine a rate for the transaction. This error typically occurs in the context of energy and utility billing processes, particularly when dealing with electricity or gas installations.
Cause:
- Missing Allocation: The development and registration number (often related to a specific meter or device) is not linked to the installation in the system.
- Incorrect Configuration: The configuration settings for the installation may not be set up correctly, leading to the inability to find the appropriate rate.
- Data Entry Errors: There may be typographical errors in the installation data or the development and registration numbers.
- Inactive or Incorrect Rate: The rate that should be applied may not be active or correctly defined in the system.
Solution:
- Check Allocation: Verify that the development and registration number is correctly allocated to the installation. This can be done through the relevant transaction codes (e.g., EL31 for installation data).
- Update Configuration: If the allocation is missing, you may need to allocate the development and registration number to the installation. This can typically be done in the configuration settings for the relevant utility module.
- Review Rate Determination: Ensure that the rate determination procedure is correctly set up and that the rates are active for the specified period.
- Data Validation: Double-check the data entered for any errors or inconsistencies. Ensure that the installation number and the development/registration numbers are correct.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific steps related to your version of SAP and the utility module you are using.
