What causes this issue?

There is no entry in table EDISEG for the segment name &v1&. It is
therefore not possible to convert the segment name which is used
externally into the name of the segment type which is used within the
SAP application. The inbound Intermediate Document cannot be processed.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
