Message type: E = Error
Message class: DGA - DG: Messages for Dangerous Goods Management (A)
Message number: 432
Message text: Selection date for delta filling was set to &1
When filling the dangerous goods master, you have chosen a selection
date that is not today's date and you have also set the <ZK>Evaluate
Change Pointer</> indicator.
The system automatically sets the selection date the same as the
current date.
If you want to use a different selection date, start the report program
<ZH>DGPDATCO</> in the transaction <ZK>SE38</> and choose the date you
require. In principle you should always trigger delta filling with the
current date, otherwise problems can occur with data record splitting
for the changed specification data.

DGA432
- Selection date for delta filling was set to &1 ?The SAP error message DGA432, which states "Selection date for delta filling was set to &1," typically occurs in the context of data extraction processes, particularly when dealing with delta loads in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP Data Services. This message indicates that the selection date for the delta extraction process has been set to a specific date, which may not align with the expected or required date for the delta load.
Cause:
- Incorrect Date Configuration: The selection date for the delta filling might have been set incorrectly in the extraction settings or in the data source configuration.
- Data Source Issues: The data source from which the delta is being extracted may not have any new data since the last delta load, leading to the selection date being set to a date with no new records.
- Delta Queue Issues: If there are issues with the delta queue (e.g., it is not being processed correctly), it may lead to incorrect date settings.
- Time Zone Differences: If the system is configured with different time zones, the selection date might not match the expected date for the delta extraction.
Solution:
- Check Extraction Settings: Review the extraction settings in the DataSource or InfoPackage to ensure that the selection date is set correctly. Adjust the date if necessary.
- Review Delta Queue: Check the delta queue for the data source to ensure that it is being processed correctly. If there are issues, you may need to reprocess the delta queue.
- Run Full Load: If the delta extraction is not yielding results, consider running a full load to refresh the data and reset the delta mechanism.
- Adjust Time Zones: Ensure that the time zone settings in your SAP system are consistent and correctly configured to avoid discrepancies in date settings.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific data source or extraction process for any known issues or additional configuration steps.
