CY450
- Planned order &1 operation &2 were deleted on rescheduling ?The SAP error message CY450 indicates that a planned order operation has been deleted during the rescheduling process. This can occur for various reasons, and understanding the cause and finding a solution is essential for effective production planning.
Cause:
- Changes in Demand: If the demand for a product changes, it may lead to the deletion of planned orders that are no longer necessary.
- Capacity Constraints: If there are capacity issues or constraints in the production process, the system may delete planned orders to optimize scheduling.
- Order Modifications: Changes made to the production order or planned order, such as changes in routing or bill of materials, can lead to the deletion of operations.
- Rescheduling Parameters: The parameters set for rescheduling may be too strict, causing the system to delete operations that do not meet the new criteria.
- Material Availability: If materials required for the planned order are not available, the system may delete the order or its operations.
Solution:
- Review Demand Changes: Check if there have been any changes in demand that could have led to the deletion of the planned order. Adjust the demand planning accordingly.
- Check Capacity Planning: Review the capacity planning settings to ensure that there are no constraints that would lead to the deletion of operations. Adjust capacity if necessary.
- Examine Order Modifications: Look into any recent changes made to the production or planned orders. Ensure that all necessary components and operations are still valid.
- Adjust Rescheduling Parameters: Review the rescheduling parameters in the system. If they are too strict, consider relaxing them to allow for more flexibility in scheduling.
- Material Availability Check: Ensure that all materials required for the planned order are available. If not, address any material shortages before rescheduling.
- Use Transaction Codes: Utilize transaction codes like MD04 (Stock/Requirements List) or COHV (Mass Processing of Production Orders) to analyze the situation further.
