What causes this issue?

When defining the sort, you entered a group not equal to 0 and
either no sort layout key or an extra sort key.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

However if you refer directly to a group from the requirements grouping
from the selection profile, then you must define a sort layout key for
this group. It has the effect that only those objects that belong to
this requirements group are copied using this key.
If there are several groups in the chart then a sort layout key must be
entered for every group.

How to fix this error?

You should enter a sort layout key for each of the groups in the chart.
