you entered is not within an interval defined for external number
assignment.

How to fix this error?

Choose a valid recipe group number.
To see which intervals are permitted for external number assignment
proceed as follows:
RESET N1
Execute the <LS>Define number ranges for master recipes</> action
in customizing for master recipes, in the <LS>Settings for the Task
List Type</> section, or choose the corresponding link at the bottom.
Choose <ZH>Interval -> Display</>.
The <LS>Display number range intervals</> screen appears. All the
intervals displayed, which have the <LS>Ext</> indicator, are permitted
for external number assignment.
