  • What causes this issue?

    You tried to retrieve OPC values from the
    <DS:GLOS.81831343B0CAD411B11B0008C784EFB1>OPC server</> &V1& (plant
    &V2&). However, the function was not carried out.
    This may be due to the following reasons:
    The OPC server does not support the
    <DS:DE.COOPC_SERVER_DA_SYNC>Synchronous Data Access</> and
    <DS:DE.COOPC_SERVER_DA_ASYNC>Data Access Subscription</> functions.
    The OPC server supports the <LS>Synchronous Data Access</> and <LS>Data
    Access Subscription</> functions, however, these functions are not
    activated in Customizing.

    System Response

    How to fix this error?

    In Customizing, check whether the <LS>Synchronous Data Access</> and
    <LS>Data Access Subscription</> functions can be selected and set the
    indicators for these functions if required. If the indicators cannot be
    set, the OPC server &V1& does not support the functions.
    To do so, go to Customizing for <LS>Production Planning - Process
    Industries</> and choose <LS>Process Management</> -> <LS>SAP ODA (OPC
    Data Access)</> -> <DS:SIMG.COOPC120>Define Settings for SAP ODA</>.
