  • What causes this issue?

    You tried to create a category (using API) and specified which category
    should be the higher-level category. The category you specified as the
    higher-level category is incorrect for one of the following reasons:
    The higher-level category does not exist
    The hierarchy specified as higher level cannot be used
    For example, category 2 is the higher-level category of category 1. At
    the same time, category 1 is the higher-level category of category 2.
    The category ID specified is not unique
    There are several categories in the hierarchy with the same ID. However,
    they originate from different systems.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
