The OLTP-DataSource is generated for client &v1&. However, the data was
extracted from the OLTP system in client &v2&.
The data was extracted from the OLTP system in client &v2& despite the
fact that the clients do not concur.
Check whether the right client has beeen maintained for the DataSource
in the OLTP system (transaction CTBW). The basic rule is that a

CLBW029
- Data was extracted from incorrect client ?The SAP error message CLBW029 indicates that data was extracted from an incorrect client. This typically occurs in the context of data extraction processes, such as when using SAP Business Warehouse (BW) or during data transfer processes where the client context is crucial.
Cause:
- Incorrect Client Configuration: The data extraction process is being executed in a client that does not contain the expected data or is not configured correctly for the extraction.
- Client-Specific Data: The data you are trying to extract is specific to a different client, and the system is unable to find it in the current client.
- Transport Issues: If the data was transported from one client to another, there may be inconsistencies or missing data in the target client.
- Authorization Issues: The user executing the extraction may not have the necessary authorizations in the current client to access the required data.
Solution:
- Check Client Settings: Ensure that you are logged into the correct client where the data exists. You can verify this by checking the client number in the SAP GUI.
- Verify Data Availability: Confirm that the data you are trying to extract is indeed available in the client you are working with. You may need to check the source system or the data source configuration.
- Review Extraction Logic: If you are using a custom extraction logic or a specific data source, ensure that it is correctly configured to point to the right client.
- Authorization Check: Make sure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access the data in the specified client. You may need to consult with your SAP security team.
- Transport Data: If the data needs to be available in the current client, consider transporting the necessary data from the source client to the target client, if applicable.
