characteristic for this class. You can only use a
<DS:GLOS.characteristic>characteristic</> once in each class.
The class either contains this characteristic directly or a
characteristic with a <DS:GLOS.user-defined_data_type>user-defined data
type</> which contains this characteristic as an individual
characteristic.

System Response

The system checks that characteristics do not occur more than once in a
class. The check includes indirect allocations via characteristics with
a user-defined data type.
