Message type: E = Error
Message class: B0 - Business Partner General
Message number: 555
Message text: If you make changes, you may lose data in the corresponding SAP BP
You want to edit a Treasury business partner that is used in an
application that references the corresponding SAP BP. Since there is no
parallel maintenance between SAP BP and TR BP, any changes that you make
here are not copied to the corresponding SAP BP. As soon as you migrate
the RE Classic application into flexible Real Estate Management (RE FX),
the changes are lost.
The message is defined as an error message by default meaning that the
TR BP cannot be edited. However, you can change the settings so that
this message is a warning message. It is then possible to edit the TR BP
despite the constraint mentioned above. See SAP Note 944765.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
