Message text: No change document object registered for selected table
No change document object has been registered for the chosen table in
the <ZK>Change Document Objects: Overview</> transaction (SCDO).
Changes in the settings of data elements regarding the creation of
change documents do not result in a change in the creation of change
documents for a special change document object. However, the changes
can affect other tables and other change document objects.
A certain small number of change document objects exist that are not
listed in transaction SCDO. This confirmation prompt is issued for
tables of these objects although the tables are assigned to a change
document object.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If you are sure you want to make changes in the creation of change
documents for data elements of this table, confirm accordingly.

- Define the change document object and link it to the relevant table.
Use Alternative Methods:
- If change documents are not necessary for your use case, consider using other methods to track changes, such as triggers or application logs.
Consult Documentation:
- Review SAP documentation or consult with your SAP Basis or ABAP team to understand the implications of enabling change documents for specific tables.
