What causes this issue?

In number range &V2&, company code &V1&, some assets already have main
numbers that are larger than the last number assigned in this number
range.
If you try to create assets for company code &V1& in an asset class
that uses number range &V2&, runtime errors could occur when you add
new master records to the database.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Remove the incorrect assets whose numbers are larger than the last
number assigned in the number range.
