Message class: AH - IS-U billing (master data)
Message number: 035
Message text: Gas temperature &1 is rounded to exactly 0.5
In table TE445 ("Gas Law Deviation Factor per Press. and Temp.), it is
sufficient to specify the gas temperature in intervals of 0.5 degrees.
If, in actual billing, the <DS:DE.THGVER>gas procedure</> has a
<DS:DE.E_ZUZVER>volume correction factor procedure</> in which the
<DS:GLOS.gas_law_deviation_factor>gas law deviation factor</> is to be
determined immediately after the procedure "per pressure and
temperature", then the actual gas temperature is rounded to exactly 0.5
degrees and read with this value in table TE445.
Warning: the temperature value is constantly adjusted.
If possible, enter exactly 0.5 degrees for the gas temperature.

AH035
- Gas temperature &1 is rounded to exactly 0.5 ?The SAP error message AH035, which states "Gas temperature &1 is rounded to exactly 0.5," typically occurs in the context of gas measurement or processing within SAP systems, particularly in modules related to utilities or process industries. This message indicates that the gas temperature value being processed has been rounded to a specific precision, which may not be acceptable for the calculations or processes being performed.
Cause:
- Precision Limitations: The gas temperature value may be inputted or calculated in a way that results in a value that is not compatible with the expected precision. For example, if the system is set to round values to the nearest 0.5, any temperature that does not conform to this will be adjusted.
- Data Entry Errors: Incorrect data entry or measurement errors can lead to unexpected temperature values that trigger this rounding.
- Configuration Settings: The rounding settings in the SAP system may be configured to round to 0.5, which may not align with the operational requirements.
Solution:
- Review Input Data: Check the input data for the gas temperature to ensure that it is accurate and within the expected range. Correct any discrepancies.
- Adjust Rounding Settings: If the rounding to 0.5 is not suitable for your operations, consider adjusting the rounding settings in the SAP configuration. This may involve changing the precision settings in the relevant configuration tables or customizing the system to accommodate different rounding rules.
- Consult Documentation: Review the SAP documentation or help resources related to gas measurement and temperature processing to understand the expected formats and configurations.
- Testing: After making adjustments, conduct tests to ensure that the changes resolve the issue without introducing new errors.
