What causes this issue?

A new ledger &V2& is being implemented for several company codes in
project &V1&. Different charts of depreciation are assigned to the
company codes.
However, different accounting principles that refer to the different
ledger groups with the same representative ledger are <ZH>not</> allowed
to be assigned in the charts of depreciation.
If several company codes are assigned in a project for Asset Accounting
and these use different charts of depreciation, then the ledger to be
newly implemented must rather be used in the different company codes in
one and the same ledger group as the representative ledger.
Examples:
You have assigned the target ledger (trgt ldgr) in the project. The
accounting principle is assigned in the chart of depreciation which in
turn is assigned to the ledger group (LG). The ledger group contains a
representative ledger (repr. ldg.).

How to fix this error?

Check which accounting principles (and as such which ledger groups) you
have assigned to the new depreciation areas that should represent your
new valuation. Make sure that the same ledger group is assigned through
the accounting principle in all charts of depreciation assigned
indirectly to the project that should be enhanced with the new
valuation.
Assign a different accounting principle if necessary.
