What causes this issue?

Area &V1& is the takeover area for area &V2&. Since area &V2& is
configured to manage parallel currencies, you can only use a takeover
area that manages its values in company code currency.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Check your Customizing settings for both areas, and make any changes
that are necessary.
