  • What causes this issue?

    You want to change equipment type (object type) &V1& to equipment type
    &v2&.
    You cannot do this as both equipment types have different inventory
    management types and there are still shipping documents or PBE
    documents for the equipment that have not been settled.
    No posting has taken place and the equipment type has been reset to the
    initial value.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    You can display the documents that have not yet been settled (internal/
    external document status with value SPACE, 1 or 6) in the list of
    shipping documents by entering the equipment and document statuses
    above.

    You can change the equipment type from &V1& to &V2& once a settlement
    run has taken place in which all the documents for the equipment are
    settled.
