What causes this issue?

The requirements typs is not defined as a strategy for the material in
the strategy group.

System Response

The strategies allowed for planning a material are recorded in
Customizing for demand management in the strategy group. The strategy
group can either be allocated to the material in the material master
record, either directly or via the MRP group. The system uses the
strategy group to find the correct requirements type when creating or
changing planned independent requirements.
If you enter a requirements type that is not included in the strategy
group, the system displays a warning or an error message.
&HINWEIS&
If you entered a strategy group in the material master record, you must
enter a requirements type in the <LS>requirements type</> field.
Here, the system determines the requirements type that was entered as
the main strategy in the strategy group and proposes this value.
This default value can be overwritten by one of the alternative
strategies in the strategy group, if lore strategies were defined.

How to fix this error?

Check the strategy group or the MRP group in the material master
record. Does the strategy group contain the strategies or the
requirement type that you require?
