    What causes this issue?

The object was selected from the search help. In the context of this
search help, objects are only useful that are released for posting.

    System Response

The system does not accept your selection.

    How to fix this error?

If you use the search help in a context in which you require the
selected object (for example, because you want to assign this object to
an asset), release the object for posting (using the relevant RE master
data transaction). Then you can select it from the search help.
If you use the search help, for example, to search in posted documents
for line items that concern specific Real Estate objects, it is not
useful to select the object you selected (as nothing can be posted to
    it). Select another object.

    Procedure for System Administrators
