What causes this issue?

During payroll processing, the system has identified that there is more
than one entry in the WPBP table, and these WPBP table entries do not
match the periods specified either in the <ZK>Indemnity Definition (BE)
</>(<ZH>3270</>) or<ZK> Indemnity Payment (BE) </>(<ZH>3271</>) infotype
records.
The employee has an indemnity infotype record with a validity period
that is linked to more than one period of the WPBP table; this is not
valid.

System Response

The system cannot continue processing payroll for this employee; you
need to correct the master data and restart the payroll.
<ZH>Note</>: This is a type E message.

How to fix this error?

Proceed as follows:
Identify which infotype record (either 3270 or 3271) relates to the
entries in the WPBP table
Split this infotype record using the operation copy function of
transaction PA30. Now you will have at least two records (for the record
in error)
Check that each of these records corresponds to only one validity period
defined in the WPBP table
<ZH>Note</>: For capitalization records (<ZK>Indemnity Payment (BE) </>(
<ZH>3271</>) infotype records), the validity period can be one day of
the month. Consquently, you will not receive this error message for
capitalization records.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
