  • What causes this issue?

    Existing records for this Infotype have been detected.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

    During conversion, the system expects a "blank slate" in the target
    Infotype range. If records already exist for this Infotype, some
    Business Logic errors/warnings which are returned during the conversion
    may be misleading.
    In Test mode, the Conversion program will detect existing records and
    report their existence in the Message Log.
    In Production mode, the Conversion program will delete any existing
    Infotype records automatically, and report this deletion in the Message
    Log.

    How to fix this error?

    Delete the existing records and run the report again.
