  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The indicated payroll cluster contains several contracts for an
    intermittent worker.
The payroll results can only be accessed after the program has read

The values indicated for these contracts are therefore false along with
    the obtained totals.

    System Response

The system does not edit the statement for the relevant intermittent
    worker.

    How to fix this error?

Use a cluster split so that each payroll cluster corresponds to each
    intermittent worker contract.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message 5F087 - Cluster &1 (SIREN &2, NIC &3) can not contain several contracts ?

The SAP error message 5F087 indicates that a specific cluster (identified by the cluster number &1) cannot contain multiple contracts for the given SIREN (Système d'Identification du Répertoire des Entreprises) &2 and NIC (Numéro Interne de Classement) &3. This error typically arises in the context of contract management or financial transactions within the SAP system, particularly in modules related to finance or logistics.

    Cause:

    1. Data Integrity Rules: The error is triggered because the system enforces a rule that a single cluster can only be associated with one contract for a specific SIREN and NIC combination. This is likely a business rule to maintain data integrity and avoid conflicts in contract management.
    2. Duplicate Entries: There may be duplicate entries in the database where multiple contracts are incorrectly linked to the same SIREN and NIC.
    3. Configuration Issues: The system configuration may not be set up to allow multiple contracts for the same entity, which could be a design choice based on business requirements.

    Solution:

    1. Review Contracts: Check the existing contracts associated with the SIREN and NIC in question. Ensure that there are no duplicate contracts that are causing the conflict.
    2. Consolidate Contracts: If multiple contracts are found, consider consolidating them into a single contract if that aligns with business processes.
    3. Adjust Data Entry: Ensure that when entering new contracts, the system checks for existing contracts associated with the same SIREN and NIC to prevent duplicates.
    4. Consult Configuration: If necessary, consult with your SAP configuration team to review the settings related to contract management and see if adjustments can be made to allow for multiple contracts if that is a business requirement.
    5. Error Handling: Implement error handling in the application logic to catch this error and provide a user-friendly message or guidance on how to resolve it.
