  • What causes this issue?

    This message can appear in the following situations:
    The selected folder does not contain any objects; it only contains
    structures or objects that have never had the status "released".
    While selecting or dragging and dropping one or more files in the info
    object list (IOL) or structure view when an attempt is made in the
    translation mode of SAP GUI to assign a translated version to an
    existing info object.
    Before the new version is checked in, the file format of the primary
    component of the existing info object is checked. This was NOT flagged
    as "translation relevant" in table IWDOCFRMT.
    The info objects (or folders) selected for creating the offline
    translation package cannot be translated because of the points mentioned
    above.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Check the selected folder or info object classes/statuses of the
    contained info objects.
    If the selected folder does not contain any info objects at all or only
    structures, no translation is possible.
    If content objects whose status has never been set to "released" exist,
    contact the person responsible for the objects.
    Select a file format for the primary component in the source language
    that is allowed for the translation. If this is not possible, contact
    the system administrator or check the settings of the selected file
    format.
    Check the points mentioned above before creating an offline translation
    package again.
