To be able to change the original language of an Info Object, the last
released version in the new original language must be a direct or
indirect translation of the last released version in the current
original language.
No translation relationship exists between these versions of the
current and new original languages.
The original language of the object cannot be changed.
Check whether there is a current translation of the object whose
original language is to be changed. Try again to change the original
language when a translation exists.

- Translation context check error ?The SAP error message 42650, which indicates a "Translation context check error," typically arises during the translation process of texts in SAP systems. This error can occur when there is a mismatch or inconsistency in the translation context, which can happen for various reasons, such as missing entries, incorrect language settings, or issues with the translation environment.
Causes:
- Missing Translation Entries: The source text may not have a corresponding translation in the target language.
- Incorrect Language Settings: The language settings in the user profile or the system may not be configured correctly.
- Inconsistent Context: The context in which the text is used may not match the expected context for translation.
- Transport Issues: If translations were transported from one system to another, there may be inconsistencies or missing entries.
- Authorization Issues: The user may not have the necessary authorizations to access or modify translation entries.
Solutions:
- Check Translation Entries: Verify that all necessary translation entries exist in the system. You can do this by navigating to the relevant transaction (e.g., SE63 for translation) and checking for missing entries.
- Review Language Settings: Ensure that the language settings in your user profile (SU01) and the system settings are correct. You can also check the language settings in the transaction code SE80.
- Consistency Check: Use transaction SE63 to perform a consistency check on the translation context. This can help identify any discrepancies.
- Transport Management: If the issue arose after a transport, check the transport logs for any errors or missing objects related to translations.
- Authorization Check: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to perform translation tasks. This can be checked in transaction SU53 or by reviewing the user's roles and authorizations.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP Notes or documentation related to translation issues for specific guidance or patches that may address the error.
