Message text: Check effectivity data
You want to use a change number that has an
<DS:GLOS.3526BEF4AFAB52B9E10000009B38F974>effectivity type</> (such as
serial number range) to define its effectivity, not a <LS>valid-from</>
date.
The system determines the effectivity data from the change master
record and makes any further checks that are relevant to the object.
Check whether the settings for parameter effectivity are defined for
the object you want to change.
Example
You want to allocate a material to a class of class type 001, and enter
a change number that has an effectivity type to define its effectivity.
The <DS:DE.CLEFFEACT>ECM (parameter)</> indicator must be set. You set
this indicator in Customizing for the Classification system under
<LS>Maintain object types and class types</>.

- Update Effectivity Data: If effectivity data is missing, you may need to create or update it in the relevant master data records (e.g., material master, BOM, routing).
