- Enhancement repairs must be repeated in their original system ?The SAP error message 1X125 ("Enhancement repairs must be repeated in their original system") typically occurs when there are enhancements or modifications made in a development system that need to be transported to a production system. This error indicates that the enhancements or repairs made in the original system (usually the development system) have not been properly transported or are not available in the target system (usually the production system).
Cause:
- Transport Issues: The transport request containing the enhancement or repair was not successfully imported into the target system.
- Missing Enhancements: The enhancements or modifications were made directly in the production system instead of the development system, leading to inconsistencies.
- System Landscape Issues: The system landscape may not be properly configured, leading to issues with transport paths or missing objects.
- Version Mismatch: The version of the enhancement or repair in the target system may not match the version in the original system.
Solution:
- Check Transport Requests: Verify that the transport requests containing the enhancements or repairs have been created and released in the development system. Ensure they are imported into the target system.
- Re-transport Enhancements: If the transport request was not imported, re-transport the relevant requests from the development system to the target system.
- Review Logs: Check the transport logs for any errors or warnings that may indicate why the transport did not succeed.
- Manual Adjustments: If the enhancements were made directly in the production system, you may need to manually replicate those changes in the development system and then transport them properly.
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific enhancement or repair to ensure all necessary steps have been followed.
- System Configuration: Ensure that the system landscape is correctly configured for transports, including proper transport routes and authorizations.
