  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You entered a transport layer that does not start 'Y' or 'Z'.
In a customer namespace you can only create transport layers that start
with 'Y' and 'Z'. The only other transport layer you can use is 'SAP',
for defining the tranport routes for repairs to SAP objects.
Problems with transport layer namespaces occur only when SAP and
customer systems both exist in a transport domain, and you want to
transport changed objects from these systems automatically in transport
    requests.

    System Response

Your entry is rejected, or an error appears in the check log.

    How to fix this error?

Enter a (custoner) namespace that starts with 'Y' or 'Z', or the layer
'SAP'. If the error appeared in the check log, check the following:
All systems with the standard transport layer <(>&<)>V1<(>&<)> must be
    customer systems.
All source systems of transport routes with the transport layer
<(>&<)>V1<(>&<)> must also be customer systems.
If these conditions are met you can ignore the error.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
