level contains a period of unpaid absence.
According to section 17, paragraph 3 of TVoeD, only specific suspensions
of a continuous activity are equalized and, therefore, do not extend the
validity period of the level.

Check whether the absence is a suspension that causes the validity
period of the level to be extended.
The validity period of the level must be extended manually by means of
the <DS:DE.STVOR>Next increase</> field in the "Basic Pay" infotype
(0008).
